The Parent Teacher Organization is organized for the purpose of enhancing the educational experience of the students of East Middle School by supporting the principal, teachers and staff through communication, cooperative interactions and financial assistance for items or events not otherwise funded through the school budget, and by partnering with local businesses, when possible, to strengthen the relationship between school and community.
The PTO at East is different from those at the elementary schools because it doesn't require a huge commitment. We have some opportunities to volunteer throughout the year, but we won't be asking for anyone to sell cookies, candles or wrapping paper.
The PTO is looking for volunteers for the following positions:

Co-President
