School Bus

The Braintree School Committee’s policy is to bus all kindergarten students who live more than one mile, all kindergarten students at the end of the morning session and beginning of the afternoon session, all pupils who live more than one mile at the elementary level, two miles for students at the middle school level, and two miles for students at the high school level.

It is the perfect job for - Stay at-home moms looking to get back to work, dads, your brother or sister, an uncle or aunt, your friend, a neighbor, anyone, so spread the word.

Braintree will train you to get your CDL Class B License. 

  • $26.66 hour
  • 10 paid holidays
  • 10 paid sick days
  • You will be a Town employee with a town pension.
  • Guaranteed 20 hours a week, or more!
  • Base hours: 6:45-8:45 & 1:45-3:45
  • School snow days, holidays and school vacations off
  • And… you get to work with an amazing group of men and women!

A little information before you start: Don’t let this scare you off.

  • You will need to get the license study book at Registry of Motor Vehicles.
  • Study, and get your CDL Class B learner’s permit with school bus, passenger & airbrake endorsements. - we will guide you on what to study.
  • Before you train, you will need a physical, be CORI checked & drug tested.
    We will guide you.
  • Training is 32 hours on the road training/28 hours in class study.
    We will train you.
