Extended Enrichment Program

Beginning Monday, February 1, 2010, the Braintree Public Schools will begin
the winter session of extended enrichment programs to be held at various school
buildings for all the children in grades K-5. Students must be enrolled in
Braintree Public Schools in order to attend the program.
An Extended Enrichment
registration form must be completed and the fee for the five week program
must be submitted before a child is eligible to enter
the program. Registrations and fees must be returned to the Highlands
School, c/o Maureen Moline, 144 Wildwood Avenue, Braintree, MA 02184 with all checks
made payable to the Town of Braintree. A minimum enrollment
will be required for a course to be offered. Registration is on a first come-first
serve bases.
There will be no confirmation calls. You will only be called if the class
is full.
Programs will be held for five consecutive weeks unless noted
in the schedule or interrupted by a holiday, school vacation or a weather emergency.
Payment
for more than one course or child may be combined into one check. However,
a separate registration form must be filled out per course per child.
Please
read each course description carefully and pay particular attention to the
time and location of the course. All transportation to and from the
location must be provided by the parents. Parents must be prompt in picking
up their child. A $5.00 late fee will be assessed for every 15 minutes past
the ending time of the course. Children may sign up for more than one course
at any school in the afternoon. These courses are not limited to children
attending that particular school.
